It has been such a special oppurtunity to wittness the Holy Spirit move in my time in Manzini.

I have seen him move in many ways through many different people. We have the oppertunity to visit a church on Sundays. The church here was unlike any other church I have ever been to. There was so much dancing, clapping and back and forth singing, their instruments had been stolen so they only had their voices, no mikes, but it was pure holy and touching worship. Some of the songs almost brought tears to our eyes. The Pastor was incredable, in my small glimpse of Eswatini culture, most of the people here have been quiet and very soft spoken. Not this Pastor, when he preached his voice shook the room with his passion. He spoke with such fire in his veins about the forgiveness of God, and how great a distance God has seperated us from our sins.

One of the lines he said I wont forget, "If God keeps no record of our wrongs, how have we fond reason to hold on to our sins? We wail about our sins so much that we forget to be have joy in our salvation from them."

He had translator who repeated everything he said into the language of Eswatini. The entire experience was quite incredible. It is so encouraging to see the Holy Spirit move in even a tiny little church on the other side of the world.

I have also been able to wittness the Lord move through us. Every monday is an ATL: an Ask The Lord day. We go out into the heart of the city of Manzini, and ask the Lord to guide us, and us us for his purpose for the people of Manzini. Sometimes that looks like preaching to them, other times its praying for them, and still othertimes its simply serving them, helping them carry somnething or just talking to them, giving them some joy.

My constant prayer has been to be able to have ears that can discern the voice of God, to here his voice and be able to seperated from my own. Sometimes thats easier said than done. But there have been those moments of clarity, the moments where my mind has been calm and confident and I knew without doubt that I was being guided by the Holy Spirit. We don't get that peace all the time, but it is something that I will never forget.
